    Residential Surveys

Most often, we get requests from people inquiring about a property survey.  Unfortunately, most of these calls are generated by people who are aggrieved with their neighbor in some way and want to define where their property lines exist, put up a fence, etc.  Please understand that we cannot survey one particular boundary line.  In order to complete a property survey, the entire property boundary must be recovered and examined.  This is typically referred to as a property retracement survey.

Such a survey typically involves courthouse research, the collection and processing of any required field data, property line determinations, along with recovery and/or re-setting of property corners as necessary.  For these surveys, our proposals are typically written as "time and material" contracts up to a maximum amount.  This service usually costs much more than people think.
