Sheaffer Ridge Development

Sheaffer Ridge Development consists of 32 condominium dwellings units on 6.8 acres of land just outside the Borough of Elizabethtown. The residential development had several design concerns. The relatively small size of the property was a huge factor in the design of the street and positioning of the homes. Additionally, storm water has been directed into an underground management system to preserve as much land as possible for open space.

Another site concern was the noise that is created by the project’s close proximity to PA Route 283. This problem has been resolved by the design and construction of sound absorption and deflection walls along the property boundary with PA Route 283.

D. C. Gohn Associates, Inc. provided for the many zoning, municipal, county, and state approvals required to complete this project and bring the final plan to reality.
